On 20 February 2026, the College of Education, Sadbhavna College, organised Project Shakti as an initiative to promote social justice, social awareness, and community engagement.
As part of the programme, an online lecture by Dr. Harpreet Kalra was organised for students and faculty members. The session focused on the importance of social justice, equality, awareness, and the role of young people in building a responsible and inclusive society.
In addition to the online session, students, along with a few faculty members, visited a nearby village and conducted a door-to-door survey under Project Shakti. The activity provided students with an opportunity to interact directly with community members, understand their concerns, and gather information related to various social and educational issues.
The initiative aimed to develop social responsibility, empathy, communication skills, and community participation among students. It also encouraged them to understand the importance of working closely with society and contributing towards positive social change.
The programme was successfully conducted with the active participation of students and faculty members. Project Shakti reflects the institution’s commitment to education beyond the classroom and to nurturing socially responsible citizens.
